Shops & Your Wardrobe
Every shop in the city, how to try things on before you buy, the free stuff you can unlock, and how to change your outfit.
Your New Yorker can wear hats, glasses, scarves, tops, bottoms, shoes and something in hand. Here’s where to find it all and how to put it on.

How Shopping Works
- Click a shelf, rack or counter in a shop. The catalog opens to that section. Use the tabs to see everything, and the arrows to turn pages.
- Point at an item to try it on. Your New Yorker on the catalog cover wears it right away.
- Click the price to buy it. It goes straight into your wardrobe, and you put it on.
- Already own it? The button says Wear instead.
Short on coins? “Not enough coins. Try a job around town!” Earning coins
Your Wardrobe
Open your player card with P, by clicking yourself, or with Player Card & Wardrobe on the toolbar. Shop mirrors and changing rooms open it too. It has three tabs:
- Wardrobe. Everything you own, with chips to filter: All, Hats, Glasses, Neck, Tops, Bottoms, Shoes and In Hand. Click an item to wear it. Click it again to take it off (tops, bottoms and shoes always stay on: you’re in New York, not a dream).
- Look. Change your skin, hair, hair color and your color (your signature color, like Taxi Yellow or Bodega Blue).
- Account. Sign-in options, your member number and more. It shows when you’re playing online. Account & Sign-In
