Bagel Counters: a New Yorker under a stack of coffee sacks and bagel boxes, next to a delivery truck and a drop zone.
Catch the coffee delivery. Dodge the pigeons.

The delivery guy at Ralph’s Coffee has a truck full of coffee sacks and bagel boxes, and a very relaxed attitude about how he unloads it. Catch everything he throws, carry it to the pallet, and don’t drop the lot. A loving tribute to a certain famous coffee-bag game.

Where to Play

Go to SoHo, step into Ralph’s Coffee, click the Order Counter, then Help With the Delivery.

How to Play

  1. Catch. Move under the falling sacks and boxes to catch them on your head. You can carry up to 5.
  2. Deliver. Walk left into the DROP ZONE by the pallet. Your stack unloads by itself.
  3. Dodge. Cones, flower pots and dive-bombing pigeons knock your whole stack down.

Scoring and Pay

  • +1 for each item delivered.
  • Full load bonus +1 for unloading a full stack of 5.
  • Fresh bagel! +2 for the special bagels, from level 2.
  • Level bonus: 2 times the level, for each level you finish.
  • Empty the whole truck: +10 more.
  • You lose a life if you catch a 6th item (“Too heavy!”) or get hit by a hazard. Either way, you drop everything you’re carrying.
  • Deli coffee sometimes flies out when you’re low on lives. Catch it for +1 life.

Your pay is your deliveries plus all your bonuses. Your score is items delivered.

How a Shift Goes

  • 5 levels of 20 deliveries each, and 3 lives (shown as coffee cups).
  • Every level throws faster, with doubles and triples. Flower pots show up early, pigeons from level 3, and the last level is “empty the truck!”
  • The shift ends when you’re out of lives or the truck is empty.

Tips

  • Unload full stacks of 5, but never catch a 6th.
  • Unload often in later levels. One hit scatters everything you’re carrying.
  • Keep moving. Hazards aim at where you’re standing, and pigeons dive at where you’re heading.
