Seasonal Parties
A few times a year, the city throws a party: decorations, a special place to visit, free costumes and a hunt for hidden goodies.
Some islands throw a party every month. New York throws a parade. Now and then, Club NYC throws a seasonal party: the city gets decorated, a special place opens, and there’s something free to wear.
What Happens at a Party
- A party badge appears in the game, with what to do and your progress.
- A special place opens for the party, and a button for it shows up on the map.
- Free costumes. A stand at the party hands out themed outfits. They’re yours to keep after the party ends.
- A hunt. Hidden goodies are tucked around Manhattan. Find them all for a special prize, coins and a rare stamp.
- Party stamps appear in your Stamp Book while the party is on.
- A party vibe for your own house parties.
The Village Halloween Parade
Club NYC’s first party is inspired by the real Village Halloween Parade, where New Yorkers have marched up Sixth Avenue in homemade costumes and giant puppets since 1974. When it’s on, the parade stages on Sixth Avenue, the costume stand hands out free witch hats, pumpkin hats and more, and 8 candy corns hide around the city. That’s all we’ll say. No spoilers.
