Coins are Club NYC’s money. You start with 50, and everything you do around the city can earn more. Your balance is always at the top right of the screen.

The Daily Refill

The first time you drop by the city each day (New York time), your MetroCard gets a free refill. It grows with each day you visit in the same week:

Refill10152025303540

It’s not a streak: missing a day never takes anything away, the count just doesn’t go up. Every week starts fresh on Monday. Visiting all seven days in a week earns the Regular stamp, and visiting on 30 different days earns True New Yorker.

Daily Limits

So nobody can farm coins with a script, the city has daily limits (New York time). They’re far above what a keen player earns:

  • Job pay: up to 1,500 coins a day.
  • Multiplayer game prizes: up to 300 coins a day.
  • Everything else (challenges, tips, refills, bonuses): up to 600 coins a day.

If you reach a limit, you’ll see a note like “That’s all the coins the city hands out today. Even New York has a budget.” Your scores and XP still count. Coins start again tomorrow.
