Jobs
Five silly jobs around the city that pay real coins. How a shift works, how pay and XP are counted, and which job to try first.
Jobs are Club NYC’s solo mini-games. Each one is a short shift (one to three minutes) at a real-feeling New York job, and each one pays coins and XP. Rent’s not going to pay itself. (Rent is free here. But still.) For games against other people, see Multiplayer Games.

How a Shift Works
- Start the job from its place in the city. You can also press Play on a job’s leaderboard, or use the Arcade Cabinet in your apartment.
- Read the how-to card. Every job opens on its own how-to-play screen with the controls. Press its start button when you’re ready.
- Work the shift. Score points, earn coins, try not to burn anything.
- Check your results. The results card shows your coins, your score (and New Best! if you beat it), this week’s leaderboard, your team points, any new outfits and the job’s stamp.
- Collect and choose. Press Play Again for another shift, or Back to the City. Your coins, stamp and outfit are added when you press either one.
Pay
Every job pays coins based on how well you did. The exact pay for each job is on its page.
- Daily pay limit. Job pay tops out at 1,500 coins per day (New York time), across all jobs. If you hit it, the results card tells you, and your score still counts for the leaderboard. Shifts pay again the next day.
- Fair play. When you’re online, the city checks every shift. A run that finishes impossibly fast, or scores more than the job allows, doesn’t pay (“That run didn’t count”). Just play normally and you’ll never see it.
- Your very first paycheck comes with a postcard from the crew, and your first shift at most jobs unlocks a work outfit.
XP From Shifts
Every finished shift earns 15 XP, plus half the coins you earned, up to 60 XP for a great shift. Levels & XP

Your first collected shift at these jobs unlocks a free outfit in your wardrobe:

Leaderboards and Your Team
- Leaderboards. Each job has its own: This Week, All Time and Friends. Your best shift counts. They show on the results card and under Friends & Leaderboards (F). Leaderboards
- Neighborhood Wars. Every coin you earn at a job adds points to your neighborhood team. After your first paid shift, you’ll be asked to pick a team.
