The Toolbar
Every button along the bottom of the screen, what it opens, and its keyboard shortcut.

The toolbar runs along the bottom of the screen. Point at any button to see its name and its key.
Every Button
| Button | Name | Key | What it does |

 | Emotes | Pops an emoji over your head: a smile, a slice, a taxi, a heart and more. | |
 | Moves | Dance D, Wave W, Cheer C, Jump J and Sit S. Each move shows a little picture of you doing it. | |
 | Chat | Enter | The chat box. Type and press Enter to talk to everyone in the place. More on chat |
 | Map | M | The city map. Click a place to go there. Map, Subway & Taxis |
 | Subway | U | The subway map. Click a station to ride there. |
 | Club NYC Times | N | The city paper: news, the bodega cat’s advice and this week’s leaders. The Club NYC Times |
 | Phone | Invite Friends I, Text a Friend T, How to Play ? and this Help Center. | |
 | Friends & Leaderboards | F | Who’s in the city, your friends, the leaderboards and Neighborhood Wars. Friends & Community |
 | Player Card & Wardrobe | P | Your level, your stats, your clothes and your look. Your Wardrobe |
 | Stamp Book | Every stamp, the ones you have and hints for the rest. Stamps | |
 | My Apartment | H | Takes you home. When you’re already home, it opens your furniture. Your Apartment |
 | Sound On/Off | Mutes or unmutes the game’s sounds and music. |
The Phone Menu
Click the Phone button for:
- Invite Friends I: your personal invite link. Friends who use it land right next to you. Inviting Friends
- Text a Friend T: send a friend who’s online a quick text like “Meet Me Here”. They get a button that brings them to you. Texting Friends
- How to Play ?: Rosa’s tour, again.
- Help Center: opens this site in a new tab.
The Top of the Screen
The toolbar isn’t the only place with buttons:
- Top left: the name of the place you’re in, the ? button (Rosa’s tour), the envelope for your postcards, and your first-day list or Today in the City.
- Top right: the online count (click it to see who’s around), your level ring (click it for your player card) and your coins.
